Shoulder Sleeve Insignia. Description: On a shield shaped embroidered device 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height by 2 1/2 inches (6.35 cm) in width blazoned: “Argent, a bend Sanguine superimposed by the head of a Viking Proper detailed of the second, edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Maroon border. Attached above the shield, a Yellow scroll inscribed “INKSTER” in Maroon letters, edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Maroon border.

Shoulder Loop Insignia. Description: A Gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned: “Sanguine, throughout a Viking ship Or.” Attached below the device, a Maroon scroll inscribed “GREATNESS IN ACTION” in base metal letters.

Origin/meaning

Shoulder Sleeve Insignia: Maroon and white trimmed in gold are the school’s colors. The Viking is the school’s mascot.

Shoulder Loop Insignia: Maroon and white with gold accents are the school’s colors. The Viking is the school’s mascot and represents strength and courage.
