Origin/meaning :
The arms were granted on May 28, 1979.
The arms show the characteristic viaduct of the narrow-gauge railway (now a museum railway). The rose is taken from the arms of a former landowner, the upper half of the crozier is an attribute of St. Ulrich, patron saint of Feistritz church.
