Origin/meaning

The arms represent the four families that founded the town; the Polar, Bonoli, Leoni and Somazzi families. The lions represent the Leoni (canting) and Somazzi families. The star represents the Polar family and the hat the Bonoli family (from Bonnetto menaing hat).
