In Blau aus dem linken Schildrand wachsender Arm mit gelbem Ärmel und weisser Manschette, in der weissen Hand weissen Bohrer mit gelbem Griff haltend.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on January 16, 1955.

The arms are derived from the arms of the Amt Merenschwand, to which the village historically belonged. The Amt was part of the Canton Luzern until 1394. The drill is the symbol of St. Leodgar, patron saint of Luern.
