Origin/meaning

The eagle's head adapted from the eagle on the Department of Defense seal, symbolizes the serviced agencies; Medium blue is also adapted from the Department of Defense seal. Red, white and blue are our National colors. The polestar and blue star burst denote worldwide capabilities and rapid response.
