It is not known if Abraham Crijnsen (died 1669) a Captain of the Zeeland Admirality had any Coat of Arms. This badge is taken from the Municipal Arms of Vlissingen (Flushing), whit the field changed from Red to Blue to denote the Naval Connection. The Baged was approved 23 January 1976.
