Shoulder Sleeve Insignia. Description: On a silver gray embroidered disc edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) navy blue border, a light blue shield with a navy blue border and navy blue rays encircling, surmounted by two spears crossed diagonally with spearheads up, shafts navy blue and spearheads light blue, overall a stylized Titan helmet white with navy blue details and light blue shadow, between an encircling inscription “HOPEWELL” above and “TITANS” below in navy blue letters. The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in diameter.

Shoulder Loop Insignia. Description: A silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/4 inches (3.18 cm) in diameter overall consisting of a light blue disc displaying at the center two spears crossed, spearheads up, overall a stylized Titan helmet white with white highlight and navy blue shadow, all encircled by a navy blue designation band inscribed “HOPEWELL” at top and “TITANS” at bottom in base metal letters.

Origin/meaning

Shoulder Sleeve Insignia: Navy blue, light blue, and silver are the school’s colors. The Titan is the school’s mascot. The Titan was chosen to represent great physical and mental strength in pursuit of achievement in all life’s endeavors. The shield represents strength and confidence. The spears represent excellence through maximum effort. The helmet represents leadership, knowledge, and wisdom.
