Blason de Carelles/Arms (crest) of Carelles
Official blazon
French D'azur au pairle d'argent maçonné de sable, accosté de deux têtes de brebis d'or.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on November 16, 1999.

The division of the shield symbolizes the position of the village in the fork formed by the union of two tributaries of the Ernee river. The masonry refers to a wall to recall the name of the village.

The sheep's heads symbolize St. John Baptist, the patron saint of Carelles. The wheat indicates the agricultural character of the municipality.
