WĄPIELSK
Province: Kujawy i Pomorze
County: Rypin
Polish | blazon wanted |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted on July 28, 2017.
The golden shell is to symbolize Saint James and the pilgrim road that runs through the northern part of the municipality. The wavy bar symbolises the Drwęca River, a former trade and communication route, and, due to the former and current wealth of fish, an important source of income historically for the area. The silver wall with the gate is a symbol of the Gothic castle in Radzikach Duże.
