Origin/meaning :
The arms were officially granted on May 28, 1974.

The sun refers to the Sonnenterrasse region, inwhich Serfaus is situated. The base shows two ibex horns, based on the arms of the powerful medieval Lords of Serfaus, who used an ibex in their arms.
