Shield: Azure, a pile lozengy at the point argent, in chief a mullet of eight rays per fess wavy gules and of the first
Crest: On a wreath of the colors, argent and azure, between two triangles sable a horse's head argent
Motto: Wings of the Eagle

Origin/meaning

Teal blue and white are the colours formerly used by aviation units. The Pile symbolises Actions by the Predecessor 4th Aviation Section in Korea,
at Whitehorse Mountain, Triangle Hill, Sniper Ridge and Kumsong Salient. The Sun in the form of the Korean taeguk, indicates the eight campaign credits for the Korean War.
It also symbolises the award of the Korean Presidental Unit Citation. The Crest symbolises actions at Whitehorse Mountain, Triangle Hill and Sniper Ridge.
