Raised : in 1885 as the Trängbatlajonen (Train Battalion), renamed in 1891 to Svea trängbataljon, 1902 it become Första Svea trängkår
and in 1904 Svea trängkår, in 1949 raised to a Regiment. In 1985 reduced to a Battalion within the Life Grenadiers Regiment
