Per pale the Provincial Arms of Ångermanland and Medelpad. These two Provinces makes up the County of Västernorrland which gav its named to the Regiment.

This was raised in 1893 and disbanded in 2000.
The Motto was created in 1936 upon the creation of the Regimental Association.
