Consolidated (10 Oct 1984) with the 27 Services Squadron (constituted as 27 Services Squadron on 28 Jan 1969; activated on 8 Jun 1969). Redesignated: 27 Morale, Welfare, Recreation and Services Squadron on 21 Apr 1992; 27 Services Squadron on 1 Jan 1994; 27 Special Operations Services Squadron on 1 Oct 2007; 27 Special Operations Force Support Squadron on 9 Jan 2009.
