Raised : 1985 and in 1998 was incorporated into the Helicopter Wing as the Östgöta Helicopter Battalion.
And was finaly disbanded in 2004.
Garrison : Linköping

I rött fält Östergötlands vapenbild, en grip med drakvinge och draksvans av guld med blå draktunga och beväring, i vart av sköldens hörn åtföljd av en ros av silver.
Skölden lagd över två korslagda enkelvingade svärd av guld.

Origin/meaning

The Provincial Coat of Arms of Östergötland with the Winged Swords of Army Aviation. The Arms was approved in 1986.
