Official blazon

Shield: Azure, a wheel Sanguine (Brick Red) fimbriated and spoked Or surmounted by an Okinawan Sai point to base of the last charged overall with a fountain at the hub.
Crest: That for regiments and separated battalions of the Army Reserve: From a wreath Or and Azure, the Lexington Minute Man Proper, The Statue of the Minute Man, Captain John Parker (H.H. Kitson, sculptor), stands on the common in Lexington, Massachusetts.
Motto: Service honor.

Distinctive Unit Insignia, Discription: A gold metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in ehight overall consisting of a brick red wheel with four spokes saltirewise bearing at the hub a disk composed of five wavy bars alternately blue and white, and overall extending perpendicularly slightly above and below the wheel a gold Okinawian Sai, blade to base, between the inscription on the wheel rim "SERVICE" on the left and "HONOR" on the right in gold letters.

Origin/meaning

The Okinawan Sai a weapon symbolise the Ryukyus Campaign during World War II. The Fountain symbolises the Battalion's Water Terminal mission. The origins as a Port Battalion in Hawaii, is symbolised by the Fountain and the Wheel.

The arms were approved on 3 October 1996 and The Distinctive Unit Insignia on 15 March 1971.
