History: Raised in 1957 as a Battalion, becoming a Regiment in 1987. Reduced to a Corps in 1994 and in 2000 becom a Battalion within the Norrbotten Regiment. This Battalion was disbanded in 2004.

History: Raised in 1957 as a Battalion, becoming a Regiment in 1987. Reduced to a Corps in 1994 and in 2000 become a Battalion within the Norrbotten Regiment. This Battalion was disbanded in 2004.

Origin/meaning

The Arms of Västerbotten here is used to symbolise Norrland which as such dosen't have any Arms.
