Official blazon
Quarterly Or and Argent (Silver Gray), four mascles in cross counterchanged, a brodure Sable. Crest: From a wreath Or and Sable , a taeguk bearing a lozenge axis horizontal Or Charged with a fleur-de-lis Azure, all environed by a wreath of two stalks of rice Or. Motto: Gloriamur solvere = Proud to pay.
Origin/meaning
Silver gray and golden yellow are the colours of the Finance Corps, whoich are further symbolises by the diamondshaped mascles. Thier numbers symbolises the numerical designation of the Battalion. The quartered shield symbolises teamwork and cooperation. The taeguk and rice symbolises service in Korea and the award of the Republic of Korea Presidential Unit Citation. The Fleur-de-lis and Lozemge symbolises service in France and Europe as a Financial Unit during World War II. The Coat of Arms was approved 23 September 1993.
