History: Constituted as 57 Aviation Depot Squadron on 18 Aug 1959. Activated on 1 Nov 1959. Redesignated as 57 Munitions Maintenance Squadron on 1 Jul 1960. Discontinued, and inactivated, on 25 Apr 1968. Activated on 1 Mar 1971. Inactivated on 1 Jan 1978. Redesignated as 57 Munitions Squadron on 15 Nov 2016. Activated on 2 Dec 2016.
