History: Raised in 1811 as an Infantry Regiment, converted to Armour in 1963.

Origin/meaning

The Provincial Arms of Scania with Armoured insiginia. The Motto was chosen by Colonel CA Ehrensvärd then regimental Commander, when he led the transformation of the Regiment into a motorized unit during the years 1941-1942.
