Origin/meaning

Green and yellow are the branch colours of the Military Police Corps. The Buckle standa for security and fidelity in authority. The Taeguk commemorates the unit's war service in Korea. The Stars indicates the two Korea Presidental unit Citations.

Distinctive Unit insignia: The buckle stands for fidelity in authority and for security. The colors green and yellow are for the Military Police Corps.

The arms were approved on 5 March 2004. The Distinctive Unit Insignia was approved on 18 April 1966.
