Czech Ve stříbrném štítě černá kvádrovaná vysoká pec s prázdným topeništěm, z níž šlehají červené plameny. Nad nimi černé kolo s horní ozubenou polovinou. Pod pecí postavená hnědá ostrev o třech sucích.

Origin/meaning

The arms were registered on February 1, 1994.

Adamov is a city with metallurgical industry, which is indicated in the arms: a cog wheel and a blast-furnace with flames. The base shows a log to symbolize the forests around the city. The municipal council accepted this arms already on April 17, 1972.
