Origin/meaning
Córdoba was in the Roman and Arab times a wealthy and influential city. It was conquered in 1236 by Ferdinand III, who united Castille and Leon. The arms show the lion of Leon, with a bordure of Castille and Leon.Literature: Image taken from Wikipedia
