• Escudo de azul, dois dragões adossados de prata, lampassados, sacados e armados de vermelho, segurando nas garras dianteiras dextra e sinistra, respetivamente uma espada antiga de prata, ponta embutida de prata com alerião invertido de negro; • Elmo Militar de prata, forrado de vermelho a três quartos para a dextra; • Correia de vermelho perfilada de oiro; • Paquife e Virol de azul e de prata; • Timbre com uma cruz florenciada de verde, entre duas asas de dragão de prata armadas de vermelho; • Condecorações - Pendente do escudo a medalha de Prata de Valor Militar; • Divisa num listel de branco, ondulado sotoposto ao escudo, em letras negras maiúsculas, de estilo elzevir: «CONDUTA BRILHANTE NA GUERRA»

Origin/meaning

The Dragons with swords symbolise Battle Readiness. The inverted Aerleon symbolises the defeat of the Napoleonic Eagles. The Cross of Aviz symbolises the location of the Regiment. The Medal is the Silver Medal for Military Valour.
