French D'argent au mont de sinople mouvant d’une champagne ondée (mer) d’azur, le mont sommé d'un château de gueules ouvert d'argent et ajouré de sable, accompagné en chef de deux fusées (macles) de gueules; la mer surchargée d'un écusson de gueules à la bande d'or et à la bordure de vair.

The arms were adopted on May 11, 1999.

The arms show the local castle on a rock in the Sioule river. The two diamonds are taken from the arms of the oldest Lords of the village, the Chauvigny family. The small shield in the base shows the arms of the Lafayette family, Lords of the village from 1453-1706.
