Quarterly sable, argent, argent and azure; a cross gules fimriated argent in 1 and 4 argent; surtout an eschuteon per pale vert and barry wavy argent and azure, a saltire gules fimbriated at dexter or, debruised by a besant charged with IHS crossed sable.

Origin/meaning

The Diocese symbolizes the origins in the diocese of South Florida from which the Diocese was formed in 1969. The small shield alludes to the location od the Diocese between the Everglades in the West and the Atlantic in the East.
