Portuguese Escudo de azul, pano de muralha rematado por duas guarnições nos flancos, com duas torres, tudo de prata, lavrado de negro, cada torre carregada de um escudete com as quinas; entre as duas torres a imagem de Nossa Senhora da Conceição, toda a figura nimbada de ouro; no cantão dextro do chefe, uma estrela de oito pontas de ouro; a muralha assenta num pé ondado de verde e prata. Coroa mural de cinco torres de prata. Listel branco, com legenda de negro : " CIDADE DE FARO ".
