County (Län): Blekinge län

Arms (crest) of Fridlevstad

Official blazon

I fält av silver ett stolpvis ställt blått svärd mellan två röda mantelhälfter.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on December 20, 1954.

The arms show the simplified image of St. Martin, the former patron saint of the local church. The old seal of the village showed the whole composition of St. Martin as a knight cutting his cloak for the beggar.
