English Black; out of barry wavy of four white and black a lighthouse white masoned proper the light rayed gold.

Origin/meaning

a headland in Sussex below which is the famous lighthouse of 1902. Also a Sea Battle of 1690 when the Earl of Torrington was defeated by the French. The badge was approved on 12 December 1946.
