Origin/meaning
Based on the Crest of the Duke of Wellington (also called the Iron Duke). The Change in the 1920ies is in deference of the Duke of Wellington's Regiment, who claimed that the earlier design was close to their Cap Badge. The Motto transalte s "Fortune is the companion of valour".
