Escudo de azul com âncora de prata entre dois hipocampos de ouro em cortesia e em chefe três vieiras do mesmo. Coronel naval de ouro forrado de vermelho. Sotoposto listel ondulado de prata com a legenda em letras negras maiúsculas, tipo elzevir, «CAPITANIA DO PORTO DE FARO».
