Wappen von Hohenleuben/Arms (crest) of Hohenleuben
Official blazon
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted in 1937.

The arms show the local castle of Reichenfels and the date 1200 in Roman numerals (MCC). The city developed around the castle, hence the importance of the castle. The city wall symbolises the city rights. The arm and sword in the gate symbolise the court of justice in Reichenfels and later in Hohenleuben.
