Sinisessä kentässä hopeinen aaltokoroinen paalu, josta versoo kummallekin puolen kolme kultaista lehmuksen lehteä.

Origin/meaning

The current arms are those of the former Ikaalinen rural municipality, which were continued in 1972 for the new municipality.

The previous arms were granted on October 16, 1961.

The silver wavy pile refers to the waterways (streams, lakes, rivers) in the municipality. The linden leaves refer to the tree plantations.
