I blått fält två korslagda kanoner, i varje vinkel åtföljda av ett järnmärke, allt av guld.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted in 1940.

The arms show the symbol of iron,for the iron works started in the town in the 17th century. The cannon refer to the importance of the Bofors arms industry for the development of the town.
