Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on January 19, 1993.

The wolf and antler are derived from the arms of the Lords of Wolframsdorff, who ruled the village for more than three centuries. The two wheat-ears are a canting symbol, the name is derived from Langenweizendorf (Weize=wheat).
