Arms: Or masoned sable, two staunches of the last each charged with a curlew facing to the centre proper.
Crest: On a wreath of the colours, Three sprigs of thrift flowered and leaved proper, the stems enfiled with a· Stafford knot Or.
Supporters: On either side a lion gules holding between the forepaws a brick axe proper.
Motto: Per frugalitatem domus.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on May 20, 1954 to the Leek and Moorlands Building Society (renamed 1965).
