D'or à la fasce d'azur - l'écu surmonté d'un heaume d'argent, couronné, grillé, colleté et liseré d'or, doublé et attaché de gueules, aux lambrequins d'or et d'azur. Cimier: une cuve de sable, cerclée d'or, remplie de plumes de coq de sable.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on March 27, 1974.

The arms are those of the last Lords of Mellet, the Spangen family.
