History: Formed at Downham Market in March 1944.

Official blazon

In front of a roundel nebuly azure/argent a dexter guntlet argent holding three flashes of lightning Or.
Motto: nos ducimus ceteri secuntier = We lead others follow.

Origin/meaning

The Gauntlet symbolises Heavy Attack and the Lightning Target Illumination provided by the Unit. The Nebuly Roundel symbolises the clouds of the Sky. The Badge was granted in August 1945.
