History: First formed in 1941 at North Front, Gibraltar as a Fleet Requirements Unit until finally disbanding there in 1945.

Origin/meaning
The Tower and Key is from the arms of Gibraltar. The Gold and Black marking indicated the Squadron's Target Towing Aircrafts which was so marked. The Latin Motto translates as "The end crowns the work". The badge was approved in 1944.
