Von silbernem Wellenbalken geteilt und oben durch silbernen Wellenpfahl gespalten, vorn in Rot ein goldener, blaugezungter und -bewehrter leopardierter Löwe, hinten in Blau drei goldene Ähren, unten in Grün gekreuzte silberne Sense und Rechen.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on July 19, 2014.

The lion is taken from the arms of the Counts of Sayn, to whom the area historically belonged. The other symbols indicate the agricultural character of the municipality.
