Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on August 3, 2006.

The keys are the symbol of the local patron saint, Saint Peter, they are placed in a V for Villers. The keys also show the re-crossed cross of the Duchy of Bar and the cross with two crosses of the duchy of Lorraine respectively. The tower represents the castle that used to be in Remenoncourt.
