Quarterly argent and gules, on a fess sable between four lions rampant counterchanged a heart or, enflamed of the second, pierced by two arrows in saltire points to the chief of the first, between two garbs of wheat of the fourth.

Origin/meaning
These arms belong to the branches of the Murphy family of Dublin, Kilkenny, Cork, Waterford and Meath, Ireland. On the shield, the center garb has been removed to give place to an emblem for Saint Augustine, Bishop of Hippo and Doctor of the Church, one of his baptismal name patron. The special attribute of Saint Augustine is a flaming heart pierced by two arrows. The flaming heart is symbolic of his great love for Our Lord, while the transfixion by two arrows signifies the remorse this great Saint suffered for the iniquities of his youth.
The motto: Vivere summe Deo, is translated: "To live entirely for God."
