The horse's head represents the horse breeding around the city. The fleece symbolises the wealth created by the sheep farming and wool industry. The garb symbolises the agriculture in Darling Downs. The emu symbolises the plains in the area.The crest shows the Toowoomba violet and the golden wattle, which are quite common in the area. The supporters are kangaroos as a typical Australian symbol.
