  • (1911) Ett framåtvändt älghufvud i silfver på blått fält.
  • (1974) I blått fält ett framåtvänt älghuvud av silver.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on June 9, 1911 and again registered in 1974.

The arms are based on the 19th century seal of the town, which showed an elk (or deer) head with a letter O. IN 1911 the letter was removed and the head was described as an elk.
