Official blazon
In zilver een walrus van sabel met twee zilveren slagtanden en een opengesperde bek van keel, ten halve opduikend uit een golvende schildvoet van azuur en zilver van vier stukken. Als embleemspreuk TAND OM TAND in Latijnse letters van sabel op een lint van zilver.
Origin/meaning
The Badge shows the canting Walrus. The Motto is taken from the Biblical proverb "An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth" expressing the submarine's fearsome ability to retaliate. The Badge was approved 26 April 1954. Walrus is the name of two Submarine first in Service 1953-1971 and the second in Service since 1992.
