Origin/meaning
The dove is taken from the arms of the family of Cussac, who were the oldest known Lords of Lempty (1276). The wheat ears refer to the agricultural character of the village. The shape of the chevron symbolizes the hillock on which the church is built. The color red refers to the Gallo-Roman origins of the village.
