Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on January 15, 2021.

Large parts of the village and estate of Vaire belonged to the abbey of Corbie for a long period of time. The abbey of Corbie is symbolized by the three canting crows (corbeau).

In 1550, François de Sarcus, lord of the village at the time, sold the lordship to Robert de Boffles. The green with golden bends are the de Boffles arms. The small shield is the arms of the Estouremel family, which acquired the village in 1621.
