Origin/meaning
Bruno von Schauenburg, the Bishop of Olomouc 1245-1281, originally joined Svitavy to the Olomouc province and the piles around the shield are taken from his arms. The silver lily shows the dedication of the deacon's church to the Virgin Mary.
