I TROOP CARRIER COMMAND, USAAF
History: Established as Air Transport Command on 30 April 1942. Assigned directly to Army Air Forces. redesignated I Troop Carrier Command in July 1942. Trained Troop Carrier Organizations and Personnel. Disbanded on 4 November 1945.

Insigne: On, a blue disc edged in gold, a stylized condor clutching in its dexter claw a Paratrooper carrying a "tommy" gun ready for.
Motto: Vincit qui primum gerit - He conquers who gets there first.
Origin/meaning
The Insigne was approved as 21 October 1942.
