SAINT-HILAIRE (HAUTE-GARONNE)
Département : Haute-Garonne
French |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The two crosiers symbolise the patron saint (St. Hilaire) and the Oraison Dieu Abbey, a Cistercian abbey founded in the 12th century, to which the village (partly) belonged. The silver pale represents the old Roman road in the municipality, the blue pale is the Louge river. The left half shows the cross of the Languedoc/Occitanie region in the upper part and the arms of the Comminges area in the lower half.
